Animation & Motion Graphics Awards

Winning awards for motion graphics and animation is difficult, as winning awards is in most professions. We've been lucky enough to win various awards for our animation work over the years and we're grateful for every one.

We never start a project with winning an award in mind, but when they come along, it's time for a well earned cup of tea and celebratory bubbles!

BAFTA - BEST COMEDY

Series 1 of The Revolution Will be Televised, produced by Hattrick, shot to critical acclaim for it's fearless approach to satirical comedy. Fraser animated the comedic sketches in between the filmed elements on a wide range of topical subjects.

Whilst season 2 of The Revolution Will be Televised was nominated for a BAFTA, it sadly didn't win.

NEW YORK PRESS CLUB AWARD - FEATURE VIDEO - INTERNET

Perhaps more amazing than Fraser winning a comedy award, was Cub Studio winning a journalism award. Our school career advisors clearly new nothing!

"Welcome to College Football Playoff" won Best Internet Feature Video in 2015 for ESPN. The animation coincided with ESPN's new coverage of College Football and a change in rules as to how teams now reach the finals.

BASS AWARDS - BEST EXPLANATORY VIDEO

2014 & 2015 saw wins of Best Explanatory video in the BASS Awards.

In 2014 "A Guide to American Football" won Bronze, whilst 2015 saw ESPN's Cricket World Cup take the same honours.
